MAPQUEST to Serv ce Station

Follow Rt 28 going west, approximately 3 miles past the stoplight/turn for RTE 375 (which takes you to Woodstock). We are located at 2440a Route 28 in the town of Glenford. There are not many landmarks between RTE 375 and us, but you will pass Mountainside Restaurant and Old Route 28 ( both on the right hand side). We are an old service station building on the right hand side. You may park in our lot and along the right hand side of Route 28. Please be careful as the traffic is quite steady out here and it will be dark out.

It's a suggested $20 donation but give what you can afford.  A cheap night out considering the cause, the entertainment and the fact that you can refresh for free.

Hey Friendly Types,

There's a party/benefit brewing on Sat., Sept. 24th at 8pm at the Service Station in Woodstock***.  I use the word "party" because there will be beer, music, comedy, short films and dancing.
I say "benefit" since most of the money we collect is going to the Louisiana Environmental Action Network--a coalition of over 100 grassroots citizens groups throughout the now devastated state of Louisiana.  I've attached a letter from an amazing woman named Marylee Orr who is the executive director of LEAN.  She's down in the trenches where even a little money can mean a lot.

OK, now on to the party deets:

Bobby Tisdale will be Master Of Ceremonies and Heather Lawless and A.D. Miles will explore the art of the awkward moment.
Shivaree and Scott Bondy are playing as well as performances by some other special pals.
There will be a couple of Short films including one by Scott Dikkers, editor and co/founder of The Onion.
Of course, there will be a dance party.

Doors will open at 7 pm and entertainment will start kickin' at 8 ish.
