An evening of uncensored comedy, music, short film and unpredictable monologues with NYC comics Shonali Bhowmik, Heather Lawless, Andrea Rosen, Chelsea Peretti with special guests film, TV, and stand-up star David Cross (Arrested Development, Mr. Show) and Jon Benjamin (Dr. Katz, Wet Hot American Summer.)

Musical guests will include local rockabilly punk act the The Casket Draggers followed by a DJ dance party with Raissa of Radio Archaeology and Phil Hernandez otherwise known as DJ 5 Star.

Major proceeds from this event will go to The Woodstock Land Conservancy, a non-profit organization committed to the protection and preservation of the open lands, forests, wetlands, scenic areas and historic sites in Woodstock and the surrounding Eastern Catskill area.

Chelsea Peretti’s comedy has appeared on Comedy Central, VH1, AMC, and ESPN. She has written for the Village Voice, Details, Jest, and American Theatre Magazine and is a contributor to online publications like The Huffington Post.

Heather Lawless was winner of the 2005 ECNY Award for best female standup comedian and finalist for "Outstanding Female Standup Comedian" in the 2006 Nightlife awards, and has been featured on Comedy Central's Premium Blend as well as on the new Comedy Central album "Invite Them Up.”

Shonali Bhowmik is the leader of alternative rock band Tigers and Monkeys , and was a producer of the Tinkle Comedy Show in NYC (starring David Cross, Jon Benjamin, and Todd Barry.) Her sketch work has appeared on Conan O'Brien.  

David Cross currently appears as Tobias Fünke on the TV show Arrested Development, and liberal radio talk show host “Russ Lieber” on Comedy Central’s The Colbert Report. Along with Bob Odenkirk he created the renowned sketch comedy series Mr. Show with Bob and David on HBO. He has appeared in numerous films, including Men in Black, Ghost World, Scary Movie 2 and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. Cross also maintains a notable stand-up career consisting of material that often blends biting left-wing political commentary and crude low borrow humor. He co-hosts a comedy show with Todd Barry and Jon Benjamin in New York City called Tinkle, and has released two highly-successful CDs of his stand-up on sub-pop, It’s Not Funny, and Shut Up You fucking Baby! which was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Comedy Album in 2004.

Jon Benjamin is a comedian, actor and writer known mostly for his voice acting. His credits include starring roles in Home Movies and Dr. Katz, Professional Therapist. He has made guest appearances in many films including as a talking can of vegetables in the films Wet Hot American Summer. His current projects include the Midnight Pajama Jam, and Tinkle with David Cross and Todd Barry.

Local rockabilly punk-rockers and bikers The Casket Draggers Phil, Kyle and Shane met each other while working at a custom motorcycle shop in Orlando, FL and now live in Kingston. Their fondness of doing burnouts and raising hell led to the only possible outcome...ROCK N ROLL.. Phil Hernandez is a drummer (Heavy Trash, The Gleaners, Brave Combo) and producer (Yoko Ono, They Might be Giants, Shivaree) Raissa St. Pierre is a DJ on WKZE 98.1 and Associate Director of the Bard Music Festival.

Goat House Productions in association with The Servce Station http://www.servcestation.com create performance happenings in different venues in the Woodstock area and surrounding towns. They want to bring the performing arts and land preservation communities together in new ways, which is why a major portion of the proceed of this show will go to The Woodstock Land Conservancy.

Their previous shows at the Servce Station in Glenford and Gage Street Underground in Kingston have included music by Jon Spencer (Blues Explosion) Shivaree, Scott Bondy (Verbena) White Hassle, King of France, Kate Diamond, films by Scott Dikers from The Onion, comedy with BobyTisdale, Heather Lawless, A.D. miles. This is their first show at the Bearsville.

 

The Serv ce Station is a rural American design store located in the Hudson Valley, 10 miles West of Kingston,

New York on Route 28. Opened in the summer of 2003 by Jonah Meyer and Tara deLisio

in a 1950's era service station. The Serv ce Station is a source for furniture, gifts, and sculptural works;

it is a place brimming with customized handmade objects.
